Caldera DTX RIP - Modules panel - Destination

This article explains the Destination module, located in the Modules panel:

Print configuration

In the Destination module, you can select the destination of your printing:

  • Printer.
  • Media.

    Starting with Caldera Direct-to-Film RIP v2, media are now organized so that those with an associated preset appear at the top of the list, while those without an associated preset are displayed at the bottom.

  • Preset.

These elements can be configured in Settings > Devices & Presets

Starting with Caldera Direct-to-Film RIP v2.3, you can also access device, media, and preset settings directly from the Destination Module. Use the    gear icons next to the printer, media, and preset selectors to open the corresponding configuration panels.

 

Copies

Introduced in Caldera Direct-to-Garment RIP V1.1.0 and Caldera Direct-to-Film RIP V1.2.2.

The "Copies" field in the Destination module allows you to specify the number of copies to process for each job.

 

Adjustments

If the color mode of the selected preset includes white, you can make last-minute changes here before printing. See this section for more information on creating a white underlay.

Color bars ink quantity: Select the ink percentage for the color bars.

A Reset button allows you to return to the white settings you configured in Settings > Devices & Presets

 

Layers Preview

If the color mode of the selected preset includes white, you can access a layer preview.

Open the Layers preview accordion to display the list of layers and activate the preview mode.

The preview mode is highlighted by an orange outline around the Studio.

  • Click on  / to hide or show the layers.
  • Click on the color squares  to change the color of the preview.
