Tips & tricks

Media

  • It is preferable to make the settings related to the media (feed, suction, ...) on the machine itself, on a dedicated slot for this media, and then (potentially) transfer these values to the media tab, in order to be able to share these settings when exporting media from EasyMedia.
The settings made on the machine are more adapted and easier to determine (especially the media feed).

Profiles

  • To achieve a good profile, it is strongly recommended to activate the Top margin for profiling in the Printer tab

Borderless printing

  • For borderless prints, margins in Page Setup should be set up correctly. You should also consider checking the Cut before and after print option.

Limitations

  • SpectroProofer is not supported.
  • The minimum size of a print job is 127mm in height, so if this is not the case, the driver will add margins to reach this dimension.

  • The "Proofing" qualities are only available with recent firmware:

    • SureColor-P7500: firmware LK27K8 at least (from August 2020)

    • SureColor-P9500: firmware LL27K8 at least (from August 2020)

  • For more information, please contact the manufacturer directly.
