How to test the connection between RIP stations and printers?

To test the connection, you can enter "ping" + the remote IP address in a Terminal. To illustrate this, we will be testing the connection with the User 1 station in the example below:

1. From User 2 RIP station, open the Terminal.
   
   
2. You can type the computer's name or IP address preceded by "Ping".
   
   
3. If the setup is right, you will be getting a ping response, which means that you can reach the remote device:
