How to automatically align images on the layout?

The M&R Quatro RIP has a special feature called Auto Alignment that allows you to automatically align images placed on the layout. This feature can be customized:

What is Auto Alignment?

The Auto Alignment feature helps you arrange images in Studio.

When enabled, it automatically places images in rows aligned to the left, center, or right, or distributes them across the width of the media.

Enable/Disable the feature

In the bottom bar of the Studio, click the Auto Alignment icon SmartPlacement_ON.svg to turn the feature on or off.

When you manually modify an image in the Studio, Auto Alignment is disabled. Click the Auto Alignment icon SmartPlacement_ON.svg again to re-enable it; the images are then repositioned automatically.

Configuration

Configure Auto Alignment in Settings > Processing. You can also turn the feature on or off from this section.

Changes to the Auto Alignment settings are applied in real time and are immediately visible in Studio.
