When using Time Machine, select the entire main volume where Caldera and the system are installed, as CalderaRIP creates folders outside the user's home directory (e.g., /var and /opt).
Restoring macOS after an OS upgrade
If you need to restore macOS to its original state before the OS upgrade, follow these steps:
- Boot macOS in Repair Mode by holding the Command + R keys during startup:
- Select the Time Machine snapshot created before the upgrade.
