Good to know
Hardware compensation is useful when you get noticeable differences in the prints, even if you use the same file on each job. The previous case may be due to physical changes in the media used, caused by the temperature, humidity, batch, age, etc. A common example of this is when working with vinyl or textiles, for instance, since the heat generated by the printer can cause these media to "shrink" a little during printing.
