SNMP Protocol

This driver automatically selects the required version of the protocol. If needed, it is also possible to change the SNMP Protocol version manually thanks to a related field in the Connection tab of ServerAdmin:

Note that if you configure a device to use SNMP V3, you cannot access it using SNMP V1.

 

Media synchronization

Also in ServerAdmin, the Serial/Printer name must be filled in with the printer's serial number to connect to the EPSON Edge Dashboard for media synchronization (which can be done subsequently in the EasyMedia module).

Possible error messages

For Borderless printing, the Loading margins must be correctly set and if it is a completely borderless print, you should also remember to choose the "Cut before and after print" setting (see more info).

 

Media width incompatible with Borderless Printing

The media widths that are allowed in Borderless Printing:

Media reference is incompatible with this printmode (quality, mode, resolution)

Indicates that the reference media selected in the Media tab is not compatible with the chosen print mode.

 

The paper source is not available for this media

Indicates that it is impossible to use this type of media with the current paper load (Paper Source).

 

The paper source is set to Roll while media is defined as Sheet / Paper source is not of Roll type while media is defined as Roll

Warns of the inconsistency between the Loading that is of type Roll and the paper source is set to Roll (or vice versa).

 

Media doesn't allow "Black enhance overcoat"

This media or printmode does not allow the Black enhance overcoat setting.
