The X-Rite Ci64 is not fully supported by the Caldera RIP but it's still possible to use it to create profiles since version 11 of the RIP.
The function that is not supported by the RIP is the scanning so you must use the software of the device to can the printed targets.
Be aware that this device is not compatible with N-color print modes in the Caldera RIP (modes having additional inks as Blue, Green, Orange, etc.).
How to use it with Caldera RIP:
The process bellow is valid for all the steps during the profile creation.
1° Within Easymedia, once you have created your media you have to print the target you want to use.
The model of device to select is X-Rite Ci6:
Select the parameters of the target to print and print it.
Then go to the previous menu by using the "Previous" button.
2° Scan your target in the software of the device and export the scanned result in a .cgats file.
3° Back in Easymedia in the target selection window be sure that the target you printed previously is selected. Select then the option to load an existing measurement file and go to next step to load the previously saved .cgats file.
From there you can continue to do the profile.
