Media are linked to formats on one side and presets on the other:
Media are managed in Settings > Media and Formats:
Create a new printing support
- Go to the Settings > Media and Formats.
- Click the plus button to add a new support ( ).
- Configure the support.
Edit a printing support
- Go to the Settings > Media and Formats.
- Hover over a support in the list. Click the three vertical dots ( ), then click on Edit ( ). Or, just click on the support and you will be able to edit it.
- Configure media.

- Create or edit a printing support.
- Select the media type from the list, or create a New entry.
- Type the manufacturer.
- Select the format (sheet or roll).

Tips & tricks
To change the measuring unit in any field that displays one, simply right-click on it. The conversion gets done automatically.

Give your printing support a name to easily identify it in the list.

Click on the refresh button ( ) to automatically create a media name using the following template:
Type - Format - Width. - Click Save.
Delete a printing support
Warning
You cannot delete a printing support that is already associated with a preset.
Delete one printing support
Hover over a printing support in the list. Click the three vertical dots ( ), then click Delete ( ).
Delete several printing supports
- Locate the printing support in the list and select them.
- Or, click on the "Select all" option that appears above the list.
- Then, click on the trash icon ( ).
Find and sort printing supports
Search
The search bar allows you to find a printing support by typing its name.
Sort
You can sort printing supports per name in ascending or descending order by clicking on the arrows ( ).
Import/Export printing media
This allows you to save the configuration of your printing support with a TGZ backup file.
Export one printing support
Select the printing support in the list. Click the three vertical dots ( ), then click on Export ().
Export several printing supports
Select all printing supports you want to export, then click on . All selected printing supports will be saved in a single backup file.
Import a backup file for a printing support
Click on to import a backup file.
If an imported printing support has the same name as an existing printing support in the software, it is automatically renamed so as not to overwrite the existing one.
