🎞️ How to configure the media in DTF?

Media are associated with formats on one side and presets on the other:

Create a new media

  1. Go to the Settings > Media and Formats.
  2. Click on   to add a new media.
  3. Configure media.

 

Edit a media

  1. Go to the Settings > Media and Formats.
  2. Hover over a media in the list. Click   then  Edit.
    Or, just click on the media and you will be able to edit it.
  3. Configure media.

  1. Create or edit media.
  2. Select the media type from the list, or create a New entry.
  3. Type the manufacturer.
  4. Select the format (sheet or roll).
  5. Set dimensions and margins.

      Tips & tricks

    To change the measuring unit in any field that displays one, simply right-click on it. The conversion gets done automatically.

  6. Give your media a name to easily identify it in the list.

      Tips & tricks

    Click   to automatically create a media name using the following template:
    Type - Format - Width.

  7. Click Save .

 

Delete a media

  Warning

You cannot delete media that is already associated with a preset or garment.


Delete one media

Hover over a media in the list. Click   then  Delete

 

Delete several media

  1. Locate the media in the list and select them.
  2. Or, click on the "Select all" option that appears above the list.
  3. Then, click .

 

Find and sort media

Search

The search bar allows you to find a media by typing its name.

 

Sort

You can sort media per name in ascending or descending order by clicking on the arrows  .

 

Import/Export media

This allows you to save the configuration of your media with a TGZ backup file.

 

Export one media

Select the media in the list. Click   then Export_Jobs.svg Export.

 

Export several media

Select all media you want to export, then click on Export_Jobs.svg. All selected media will be saved in a single backup file.

 

Import a backup file for a media

Click on Import_Jobs.svg to import a backup file.

If an imported media has the same name as an existing media in the software, it is automatically renamed so as not to overwrite the existing one.
