This article talks about the Layout module, in the modules panel of Caldera Direct-to-Film RIP.
Here you can directly change the dimensions of the media you are previewing, and check the Media coverage indicator. Thanks to the color code, you can identify the most optimized layouts (with the least amount of wasted media) at a glance:
| Color | Media coverage | Meaning |
| Red | 0%-19% | Printout is not optimized at all, there will be a lot of media waste |
| Yellow | 20%-79% | Printout is kind of optimized, some media will be wasted |
| Green | 80%-100% | Printout is fully optimized, so almost no media will be wasted |
When enabling the color bars, you will be able to manage their width, spacing, alignment, and positioning before printing your job.
