Edge or Control dashboard?
Epson Control Dashboard is a separate software solution that was introduced to provide users with a centralized platform for managing their Epson printers and devices, particularly in commercial printing environments. It is designed to complement the Epson Edge Dashboard.
The Epson Control Dashboard was launched after the initial introduction of the Epson Edge Dashboard in 2015. The Control Dashboard was part of Epson's ongoing efforts to enhance device management and workflow efficiency for users.
Accessibility and Installation
Initially, Epson Edge Dashboard was presented as a software application requiring installation on users' computers (you can find some installers in this article).
However, it has since transitioned to a more web-based platform, allowing access through a web browser and eliminating the need for local installation. Some features may still require specific drivers or software to be installed, depending on the printer model and functionality.
