Symptom:
When switching monitors/resolution it can happen that the original spooler window scale and position is set incorrectly and can't be properly adjusted. If the spooler window is set too small it can also produce a "exit with error" message.
Problem:
Spooler configuration file contains incorrect data which positions/scales spooler beyond screen resolution.
Solution:
Remove the following two files from the ~/.cas/CONFIGS folder (all commands and paths are case sensitive):
calspooler.config
spooler.config
The .cas folder is a hidden folder and is user specific.
Under Linux in case of the Caldera user, its to be found under /home/caldera/
So when using Caldera Tools enable view hidden files and folders or type /home/caldera/.cas and then browse to the CONFIGS folder
Under OSX, in case of the Caldera user (valid till version 12.1), /CALDERADATA/Users/caldera and any other user (and Caldera user starting version 13.0) /Users/name_of_user/
So using the Finder select the Go pull down menu, "Go to Folder" and enter:
/CALDERADATA/Users/caldera/.cas and then browse to the CONFIGS folder.
and in case of a different user, same as above but:
/Users/name_of_user/.cas
