Considerations
- A Media Profile Patch is saved with a *.calpatch extension. It contains the transition curve (if applicable), the linearization curve, and the ICC color look‑up table associated with a media profile.
- It is recommended to save any newly created custom profile as a Media Patch. This allows the profile to be safely backed up (for example on a network drive) and restored if the computer’s hard drive fails.
Export an ICC Profile
- To create a Media Profile Patch, click on the EasyMedia icon to launch the interface > then select the Printer icon > and click Next:
- Select the Printer Model (CalderaJET/Rho-600 in this example) > Next:
- Select the Media Profile(s) > Export > Build Patch > One Big Patch (if more than one):
- Select the location (Desktop in this example) where the Media Profile Patch (*.calpatch) will be saved > then click Save:
- The profile(s) has been exported to the selected location.
