Issue:
When generating cut files via CalderaRIP, and opening them in the MGE i-cut software, the measurements are changing. The job size in the global preview interface is not correct (it is changing from mm to inch).
Problem:
The metric units for CalderaRIP cut files do not match after being imported into the MGE i-Script software.
Cause
In CalderaRIP, by default, the cut file is generated in the system units (inch, in this case). Even though the MGE i-cut also uses the inch metric system, users may change the Import Units from inch to mm, creating a mismatch and automatically making the file incompatible.
Solution
To fix the problem, you need to modify the General Setting in Esko Software as defined here below:
Global Units must be = mm
Import Units = Inch
