If you're running a standalone Windows license server with Windows 10 Defender Security Center enabled, you may encounter issues with remote clients on the same network accessing the hosted license.
Specifically, the license may not be visible in the KeyManager of the remote system. This article will help you troubleshoot and resolve this issue.
- Open Windows Defender Security Center (Search for Defender).
- Open the Firewall and network protection settings:
- Go to "Allow an app through firewall":
- Click on the Change Settings icon, browse to the Sentinel License Manager, and check the Private and Public boxes:
