HP Latex 700 / 800 (W) - How to link a calibration made for Side A to Side B with EasyMedia?

To be able to create a calibration using the EasyMedia module with HP Latex 700/800 printers, you first need to create a new substrate or custom media using the printer panel. In this article, we will duplicate a calibration made for a Side A project to a Side B project.

Our substrate name is "My custom film".This substrate is compatible with a quality mode named: "Sandwich"

  1. Launch the EasyMedia module then select the printer icon and click Next.
  2. Select your HP Latex 700/800 W printer driver and click on "Next". The "Synchronizing" process will start...

    Note that you can also click on "Import...", select "AutoSync", and choose to download "Missing presets only"

  3. Select your substrate (in our case "My custom film") and click on "Next".
  4. Select your completed "Media project" build for SideA (Quality: Sandwich 78p6c80WSW160 SA).
  5. Click on "Dup..." (Duplicate) to be able to customize your new Media Project from SideB
  6. Keep the same Mode as the one selected for Side A and Keep the same Resolution as the one selected for Side A.
  7. Select the Quality: Sandwich 78p6c80WSW160 SB compatible with SideB:

  8. Duplicate the calibration files from the source project "including the ICC profile":

  9. Your Media projects are now "Completed" and ready to be used with the Sandwich quality:
