The following features, which were previously included in the legacy VisualCut option, are now included in annual CalderaRIP subscriptions and perpetual licenses with CalderaCare.

CalderaRIP includes several built-in drivers for Roland cutters that can be used through the VisualCut interface. Before configuring the cutter in VisualCut, the appropriate driver must be selected and installed.
Driver Selection Guidelines
- Dedicated Roland cutters: Use the Roland GX driver.
- Roland GS‑24: Use the Roland GS24 driver (requires CalderaRIP version 10.2 or later).
- Roland SCxxxx printers: Use the Roland SC driver. If Immediate Cut is required with these models, use the Roland Internal driver instead.
- Other Roland Print & Cut models: Use the Roland SP driver. This driver supports both Immediate Cut and VisualCut workflows.

In the past, different cutting devices required separate licenses: CutServer for roll-to-roll cutters, GrandCut (A or B) for flatbed cutters, and a cut option for trimmers. This resulted in different installation methods depending on the device.
Today, annual subscribers and perpetual license holders with CalderaCare can use any CalderaRIP‑supported cutting device without an additional license.
