What is VisualCut?

VisualCut is a Caldera RIP module that allows cutting workflow management from files imported into the RIP to print/cut. It has been designed for roll-to-roll cutters.

VisualCut will automatically set up cut marks for the specific device it is running and drive the machine along with the documented embedded contours. VisualCut even makes complex cutting easy, thanks to the software’s ability to manage multiple contours in one file.

Interface overview

The VisualCut window is divided into six parts.

• Jobs queue
• Preview
• Connection
• Settings
• Tools settings and priority
• Contours in job

Three actions are also available at the bottom of the window:

• Cancel: cancels the action. This action doesn't work if the cut data has already been sent to the cutter and the cutter is performing the cut.
• Cut: sends the cut file to the cutter.
• Quit: closes the window.
