Cutting without printing.
In the printer dialog, set the Action to Rip (or leave Action on Print for file printers), then enable Cutting in Page Setup before clicking "Print" .
Also make sure that the target media matches the roll or sheet size in the printer driver.
After the cut file is created, open VisualCut and set the Positioning to None before clicking Cut.
Once the cut files is in the Job Queue, it's safe to delete the ripped job from the spooler to avoid accidental printing.
