Changed the default “caldera” password in Server Admin but don't remember the new password?
First, Exit Caldera.
Open terminal and copy the following command and paste it into your terminal to reset the password:
sudo rm /opt/caldera/lib/calpwd
Press enter and type your Operating System password (the password you use to log into your computer).
Press enter again after you've typed your system password. It should look like this:

You can now open Caldera again and the default password should have reset to be: caldera
--------------------------------------
If the above suggestion does not work, you can try and browse to the folder containing the calpwd password file, and manually delete the file:
On a Caldera Linux based install use Calderatools (file browser with administrative rights) to delete the file named calpwd in /opt/caldera/lib/
Then Launch Caldera again.
The password will default back to: caldera (password is case sensitive).
Same procedure as above but using the Finder.
On a Mac based install make sure to know the administrator password and the also delete the file named calpwd in /opt/caldera/lib/
