How to print white registration marks on dark media

When printing on dark or black media, standard black registration marks may be difficult for the cutter to detect. If your printer supports white ink, you can print white registration marks instead.

Create a custom registration-mark colour

When white printing is active, CalderaRIP prints white beneath black registration marks. To make the white marks visible, assign a custom colour to the registration marks.

  1. Double-click the printer to open the Print module.
  2. Drag the file from the ImageBar to the Print module
  3. Open Page Setup and select the Marks tab.
  4. Set the registration-mark colour to 1% Yellow:

Using 1% Yellow ensures that the marks are also generated by the built-in white-generation options.
