Symptom:
The player application restarts every 30s displaying the Splash screen VD
Problem:
One of the two player components is not sending the heartbeats messages.
These components are : The player application for playlist reading (until 3.40 : knownow.exe, 3.40+ player.exe) and templateRenderer for layout rendering.
Probably one of these applications has an erratic behavior...
Solution:
- Preliminary checks :
- If the player is slave, ensure to have the same version on the master/server and on the player
- Ensure the player name do not contain accented or special characters =>
Apply the last VD patch from VDAir =>
If the player was Slave before update, set back the master player =>
