Symptom:
The remote drive is not accessible from mounting point /Volumes/name_of_mount_point
Typical error message in Caldera (could be the printer share mount point, cut driver mount point or to be printed file):
If the mount is disconnected or the mount point is not unmounted properly by the macOS Operating System.
When it reconnects it creates a new mount point with a -1, -2, -3, etc. extension.
Stale or duplicate mounts is a known macOS issue and usually indicates an underlying networking issue. Duplicate mount points have the same name as the original mount point but with a -1, -2 etc. added to it.

Apple tech support has references on how to remove stale mounts, but essentially the root of the networking issue should be addressed. It is suggested that an IT person thoroughly test the network.
Solution:
For example, in the following case the printers job queue shared on the network as JobQueue has a few stale mounts (JobQueue-1 and the valid one JobQueue-2):
Follow the following steps to clean up the stale mounts:
1. Go -> Go to Folder... -> /Volumes
The following applies to mount points: A mounted share icon should look similar to this:
If a "mounted" share icon looks like this it's stale:
2. If the network share is currently mounted, right click the mounted share and choose "Eject" to unmount the network share.
3. Right click the ghost/stale mounts and select 'Move to Trash'.
4. Go -> Connect to Server -> Remount the network share.
If a file printer is making use of the mounted share, check if the mount point is properly declared in the Caldera Server Admin: Settings Tab > Server Admin:
Make sure to open the correct mount point then Proceed and password is caldera.
