Symptom:
Only certain widths of media and above are supported when profiling in EasyMedia with the onboard spectrophotometer.
Problem:
If smaller page sizes are used, errors will occur.
Solution:
For Color Calibrations (Linearization) – minimum of 24”
For ICC Profiling – minimum of 35”
There are physical limitations with the size of the targets which require these minimum page sizes
Workarounds:
* Create profile on same media that is on a wider roll
* Use a different Spectrophotometer such as X-Rite or TotalColor if wider roll is not an option
* Use a similar media profile (i.e. similar in media type and white point)
