We’ve found that some PDFs open normally in v18.2 but fail in v19. In version 19, the files trigger an error related to font substitution and won’t load.
This bug will be addressed with an upcoming product release (version 19.02).
In the meantime use the following workaround:
Close the Caldera RIP.
Download the following compressed file, ACRFonts.tar.gz and leave it compressed (see screenshot below).
Copy it to the /tmp/ folder and then open Terminal and enter the following command (requires admin password).
sudo tar -xf /tmp/ACRFonts.tar.gz -C /opt/caldera/bin/monza70/
This command will extract the contents of the file into the /opt/caldera/bin/monza70 folder.
