This article explains how to use Fileman filters to create method-filter associations from the cut contour names configured in FileMan:
When cut contour names are correctly configured in FileMan, CalderaRIP can import them into the Methods tab and associate them with methods for the currently selected material. The association is created according to matching rules, such as a matching method name or a default method.

This feature is available only for cutter drivers that support material and method associations and display the Fileman filters button in the Methods tab. It can be used in either a manual or automated material-and-method workflow, provided that this button is available for your cutter driver.
Populate method filters
Good to know
Before using this feature, make sure that the required cut contour names are configured in FileMan. Only recognised contour names can be imported as method filters.
- Open the Print module.
- Go to Page Setup > Cutting, then click Tools to open Cutter Tools Configuration:
- Open the Methods tab.
- Select the material for which you want to create method-filter associations.
- Click Fileman filters:
- Cut contours found in the image that match contour names configured in FileMan are automatically added to the method-filter list.
