Meaning of Colors in the Print Module

In the Print module, selections may display in different colors, indicating necessary settings management before printing:

  • White: Calibration is available.
  • Blue: Linearization is available, but the ICC profile is not.
  • Purple: The ink, resolution, and media combination are compatible.

Linearization is available but not the ICC profile

 

Profile names

Profile names are structured according to the following model:

<Media Manufacturer> <Application> <Media Reference> <Ink Type> <Reading Mode> <Media Brand> <Media Type> <Transfer Temperature> <Sublimation Time> <ICC Engine>

 

Example Profiles

  1. GOF-Flag-6144GS_DS_T_TransJet-Boost-85gr_200C-90s
    Paper from GOF (Georg and Otto Friedrich), reference 6144GS, used for flags. DySubli inks, calibrated in Transmissive mode. Paper: TransJet-Boost-85gr. Transfer temperature: 200°C, sublimation time: 90 seconds.
  2. Senfa-Backlit-AquaPearl_DB_R_195C-25s
    Fabric from Senfa, reference AquaPearl, used for backlit applications. DyBrid inks, calibrated in Reflective mode. Process: 25 seconds at 195°C.
  3. Aberdeen-Backlit-6243_DB_T_TransJet-Boost-85gr_200C-45s
    Paper from Aberdeen, reference 6243, for backlit applications. DyBrid inks, calibrated in Transmissive mode. Paper: TransJet-Boost-85gr. Transfer temperature: 200°C, sublimation time: 45 seconds.
