What is Color?
Color is a subjective perception of humans (resulting from various elements like eyes receptors, brain, experience, lights, and objects). This is highly complex. But you must remember that not all humans perceive colors the same but we all see gradients breaks.
So, if you wish to reproduce images, first get the gradients ok!
What is accurate color reproduction?
Accurate color reproduction is achieved when a set of targeted colors is printed, measured, and compared to a source color definition (given a certain tolerance).
This can be checked with the Caldera Print Standard Verifier option in EasyMedia.
Why manage Print configurations?
When printing with an inkjet printer, several parameters can interfere with color reproduction:
- Media
- Inks
- Resolution
- Quality (including printer mechanical parameters)
The biggest variable is the media which determines a lot of the main interaction for the rendering. The other parameters are variations that will affect color rendering to different degrees.
That's why EasyMedia has been developed to manage your various print configurations based on your media.
