Caution
Starting with CalderaRIP V16.3 and CalderaDock V3.0, the CostView web module interface was deprecated. Also with these versions, the CostEstimation option (CostView + CostProof) was retired.
CostProof alone was kept on CalderaRIP's Spooler and, in the near future, other new tools for cost and ink consumption management will be available.
CostEstimation was a module for CalderaRIP that helped you estimate job-related costs before the printing stage, based on similar jobs printed in the past or based on the ripped data of your jobs.
Costs included media and ink, but you could also add labor costs or any other additional costs to build a price policy based on data.
Ink and media consumption could be measured directly from the CostProof interface (in CalderaRIP’s Spooler) to help you optimize your media usage, while other costs (such as labor costs or manufacturing costs) could be added and analyzed from the CostView interface (deprecated since V16.3).
