Info
Both T-shirt modes automatically generate an optimized white ink "underbase" layer. It is not necessary to create a manual white layer in the art file for these modes: this may cause undesirable results.
The White ink settings work differently in T-shirt modes, see EPSON SureColor SC-F3000 - White Ink article.

Multilayer is an advanced feature, and is not necessary for most common garment printing requirements.
