To make an emissive reading for a backlit media, the luminance factor is primordial.
It is important to understand the correlation between luminous intensity and scan speed: the higher the luminance, the faster the measurement can be.

Therefore, it is beneficial to have a high luminous intensity to be more efficient and also to avoid error messages related to scan movement in EasyMedia on CalderaRIP side.

Recommendations
With the X-Rite i1Pro 3 Plus spectrophotometer in emissive mode, it is recommended to have at least 1000 lx through the media. This corresponds to an intensity of approximately 1500 to 2000 lx on the light table directly. You can find this data in the technical data sheet of your light table.
lx = lux (luminous intensity)
Tips & Tricks
Error 62 & error 63
If you have an error 62 or error 63 in EasyMedia, it means that you have done your measurements too quickly. You have to repeat the measurement more slowly.
