DTF RIP 2.x Queued Print Jobs stuck

Issue:

Jobs that are ready for ripping become stuck in the DTF RIP job queue. The Job Queue fills up whenever a layout is sent to print, but the processing gets stuck and doesn’t continue.

Solution:

1. Close the DTF RIP application completely.

2. Navigate to the following folder:

   Windows based install:

   %USERPROFILE% is typically c:\Users\Name_of_User and the AppData folder is a hidden folder, so enable file explorer to show hidden folders, Open File Explorer from the taskbar. Select View > Show, then select Hidden items to view hidden files and folders.

   %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\caldera-direct-to-film-calapisvc\public\jobqueue

   macOS or Linux based install:

   /var/calapisvc/public/jobqueue/ 
   

3. Delete all files located in this folder.
4. Restart the DTF RIP application and try printing again. The Job Queue should now process normally.
