A minor improvement has been made to the Linearization target to improve patch measurement recognition in certain use cases with the X-Rite i1Pro 3 Plus.
What changed
The new Linearization target includes a double gap design to improve patch measurement recognition.
This improvement is especially beneficial when black patches are more challenging to measure.
Important
- This is a minor improvement, not a replacement for the previous target.
- The old target should still work and remains valid for normal use.
- The new target is intended to help in certain use cases, especially where black patches are difficult to measure reliably.
When to use it
If patch measurement recognition is inconsistent in a specific workflow with the X-Rite i1Pro 3 Plus, especially when reading black patches, the new Linearization target may provide better results.

After download, double click to install.
After installation the new target should be available for print and measurement.
