Epson SurePress L6534VW is a digital label press based on UV LED ink technology.
Limitations
- Only CONTONE mode is supported
- No "Variable Data Printing optimized workflow" support, meaning that CalderaRIP supports multipage PDF/VT files in input and so will RIP background only once, but output for the controller will not have a background page.

Remarks
- The controller ticket is in JDF format (does not require Nexio to submit jobs from the RIP to the controller).
- The multi-page Output format is supported without the VDP optimized workflow but allowing to have only one job directory and one job ticket in output for a PDF/VT multipage in input, instead of one job ticket per page, reducing the complexity on the controller.
Configuration
There is a new button « Import EpRipControl.xml » in Servers Admin (in the « Resolution » tab). The customer can locate this file on his controller.
The effect will be to make available all the printer « Presets » as qualities (which are in fact renamed « presets » for this driver). It’s just a preset name that’s sent with the job in the JDF ticket, there is no other effect in the Rip. If you don’t want to send any Preset, then you must select « Default » (in that case the currently active Printer preset will be used).
