Since CalderaRIP V15.0.2 we now guide you to correctly position your X-Rite iO2 table spectrophotometer. In case of doubts, or in case you have an older CalderaRIP version, take a look at the following information.
Usually, the positioning of a target on an X-Rite iO2 table is made in the order below:
- Get the position of the top-left patch.
- Get the position of the bottom-left patch.
- Get the position of the bottom-right patch.

However, there is an exception with the P2P51x target for which the positioning starts from the bottom of the image. Using the common positioning will result in an erroneous linearization curve like this:

To obtain the correct linearization curve, you must follow the procedure below:
- Get the position of the bottom-left patch.
- Get the position of the top-left patch.
- Get the position of the top-right patch.
