Caldera DTX RIP - File manager

The File Manager is where incoming files are stored. When you load an image, an animation displays the import process. Once completed, you can easily identify all your images through the thumbnails, which include the file names.

Image information

By clicking on an image in the File Manager and opening the Image information drop-down, you will be able to view the image properties:

  • File name
  • Path (displayed as a clickable link to the image root folder)
  • Format
  • Import date
  • Dimensions
  • Channels

Delete images

To delete one or more images from the File Manager, select the images and press the Delete key. Alternatively, you can right-click on the selected image(s) to open a small menu, which gives you the option to delete the chosen image(s) or all images currently in the manager.

Number of copies

Available only in Caldera Direct-To-Film RIP.

When you select an image in the File Manager, a Quantity field appears, allowing you to specify the number of copies to be inserted into the Studio.

A visual indicator on the image thumbnails lets you know how many times each image appears in the Studio:
