Use the Date and Time Postfix toggle to control whether the current date and time are appended to generated output file names.

  • On: A timestamp is added to the file name, which helps differentiate files created at different times and prevents overwriting existing files.
  • Off: Files are saved using the base file name without any date or time suffix.

Presets

Available in Caldera Direct-To-Film RIP v2.3 and later.

When enabled, this toggle prompts a confirmation dialog before leaving the calibration process. This helps prevent exiting by mistake and leaving the printer calibration incomplete.

Studio

The Studio settings consist of two toggles:

  • Images mirroring (DTF Only): As noted in the software, if your printer controller already handles image mirroring, it is recommended to leave this option disabled.
  • Ask confirmation to clear studio: Enables or disables the confirmation dialog that appears when you attempt to    Clear the Studio, which deletes all images within it.

Auto Alignment

Available in Caldera Direct-To-Film RIP.

In addition to changing the view type directly from the File Manager, you can also define the following options in the Global Settings:

  • Files per page: Sets the number of files displayed on each page.
  • Files per row: Sets the number of thumbnails displayed per row to make browsing easier.

Input Hotfolder

Available in Caldera Direct-To-Garment RIP.

In this section, you can enable or disable the Input Hotfolder and select the corresponding folder.

When this option is enabled, the software constantly monitors this folder and automatically imports any supported files placed there, using them as input for processing and printing.

  Info

Starting with Caldera Direct-to-Film RIP V2.2, the Input Hotfolder option has been removed from Global Settings due to the introduction of an Automation Module (including Auto-Load options).

Destination

Available in Caldera Direct-To-Film RIP v2.3 and later.
