You can find the general settings of the software in the Settings menu.

Units
You can change the units used in the software. You can choose between:

Favorite unit
- Go to Settings > Global.
- You can change here your Favorite unit.
Decimal place
By enabling this option, you can display one more decimal place. The number of decimals varies depending on the unit selected:

Units in a field
In all the fields displaying a measurement unit, you just have to right-click on it to change the unit. The conversion will be done automatically.
Output file names
Here you can enable or disable the addition of a date and time postfix to the output file names and Print Tracking job names.
Studio
Here you can enable or disable the confirmation dialog that appears when you try to Clear the Studio (deleting all its images).
Available only in Caldera Direct-To-Film RIP.
Enable or disable the image mirroring. As mentioned in the software, if your printer controller takes care of this it is best to leave the option disabled.
Auto Alignment
Available only in Caldera Direct-To-Film RIP.

File Manager
In addition to changing the view type directly from the File Manager, you can configure the pages.
Go to Settings > Global. In the File manager area, you can define:
- Files per page: for the number of files displayed per page.
- Files per row: for the number of thumbnails displayed per row to ease the reading.
In this area, it is also possible to activate or deactivate the input hotfolder, as well as to select the corresponding folder.
Good to know
An input hoftolder is a designated directory on a computer or server that automatically triggers a specific process whenever new files are added to it. It's commonly used in workflows like printing, file conversion, or data processing, where files placed in the folder are immediately picked up and processed without manual intervention.

You can change the language used in the software.
