Roland TrueVIS AP-640 - Spot Ink

This device can use an Optimizer as Spot Ink. Its use is mandatory as a Primer since AP-640's inks are water-based.

To configure it, you need to go to the Page Setup module, open the corresponding tab and then click on Enable separation:

Setting up the optimizer for a linearization

If your production requires you to create or (re)linearize color profiles from scratch, you must perform a further step in EasyMedia. This will prevent you from encountering the "Please enable the optimizer with valid parameters" error in the Spooler, when you try to print the color targets.

  1. Go to the Linearization tab
  2. Click on the Printer... button
  3. A pop-up will appear. Enable the Optimizer covering (%) with a value of your convenience
  4. Click Ok

Now you can continue with the creation/(re)linearization of your color profile.
