How to transfer a preset from a Print Client to a Print Server?

This article will show you the process for moving a preset from a Print Client to a Print Server. 

For instance, if User 1 wants to print a job on Printer C using the "Stickers" preset, this preset must be imported into the User 1 Workstation first.

To transfer your preset from one RIP station to another, follow these steps: 

1. Open CalderaRIP in the workstation of the User with the desired preset (User 2 in this example).
   
   
2. Open the Print Module and go to the presets panel. Click on the [  ] button:
   

    

3. Once the configuration management window is open, select your preset and click on Export:

    

4. Select the location where you want your preset to be exported.

   Do not forget to select a location accessible to the user where you want to transfer the preset.

5. Once your file is exported, follow steps 2 and 3 in the other workstation (User 1 in this example) but now click on Import:
   
   
   
6. Search for the previously exported preset and you are done.
