How to duplicate a printer driver?

Installing a printer from the same manufacturer and model more than once can be done by installing it once and then duplicating the first printer driver.

1. Under the Settings tab, click on ServerAdmin. Then, select the printer driver you want to duplicate, and click on Duplicate:
   

    

2. Enter CalderaRIP administration password ("caldera"):
   

    

3. Rename the duplicated driver (typically the original name with a -B or -2) and click OK:
   

    

4. A popup window will appear. Click OK again:
   

    

5. Select and configure the duplicated printer driver according to the printer's connection type. To better configure your printer driver, find below the configuration steps for all printers' connection types.
   
   
   How to Configure different connection types?

   • Roll-based (LP direct connection type via IPV4 or RawIP)
   • Flatbed (file type)
   • Roll-based (USB connection type)

    

6. Once the duplicated driver has been configured, close down CalderaRIP and restart the application. The following message will appear:
   

    

7. Click OK. The duplicated printer driver will be added to the ApplicationBar and be ready to be used:
