CalderaDock: Save Config

This article explains how to use the CalderaDock Save Config feature to back up the configuration of installed printers in CalderaRIP.

The saved configuration can be used to restore printer settings when reinstalling the software on a new computer, for example after a system failure.

  Warning

While configurations can be saved, successful restoration depends on several factors, including the operating system version, CalderaRIP version, CalderaDock version, and the printer manufacturer and model. Because of these variables, the restore process may not always work in every environment.

  Info

For more information on the available backup methods and the elements that can be backed up in CalderaRIP, please refer to the dedicated article.
