Useful tools for Caldera users

This article provides a compilation of tools to enhance your printing operations. Continue reading for an overview of each tool and its specific application.

These tools have been compiled as a courtesy by our support team and were previously available in the now-deprecated Download & Install Area of WorkSpace.

 

Cut Contour style libraries

To enhance efficiency in digital printing, we provide cut contour libraries for Adobe Illustrator and CorelDRAW. Utilizing these cut contour libraries will streamline your workflow and reduce setup time.

 

Adobe Illustrator

  1. Download the Library: Obtain the .ai file by clicking here.

    This library can also be downloaded via CalderaDock > Resources tab > Cut.

  2. Open Adobe Illustrator.
  3. Load the Library:
    • Navigate to the Window menu.
    • Select Swatches.
    • Click the panel menu (three horizontal lines) and choose Open Swatch Library Other Library.
    • Locate and select the downloaded library file.
  4. Using the Styles: The cut contour styles will appear in a new swatches panel for application to your artwork.

 

CorelDRAW

  1. Download the Library: Obtain the .cpl file by clicking here.

    This library can also be downloaded via CalderaDock > Resources tab > Cut.

  2. Open CorelDRAW.
  3. Import the Library:
    • Go to the File menu.
    • Select Import (or use Ctrl + I).
    • Locate and select the downloaded .cpl file.
    • Click Import.
  4. Accessing the Styles: The cut contour styles will be available in the Object Styles or Color Palette for application to your designs.
