M&R Quatro RIP V1.2.2 - Color Accuracy preset

As part of M&R and Caldera's commitment to constantly release new tailor-made tools, we introduce to you Color Accuracy V1, a linearization and color profile specially developed for your Quatro device.

This new profile incorporates settings to give you better color accuracy and true color reproduction. Start benefiting from the profile by following the instructions below.

 

Before starting

You may have seen a new profile available with the version of M&R Quatro RIP V1.2.2

The Color Accuracy V1 preset is an improvement of the previous one and can be installed, named, and located more easily. Read on to learn more.

 

Step 1: Download the preset

Click on the Color Accuracy V1 link to start downloading the new preset.

The preset comes in a compressed .tgz file that you don't need to extract yet. The next steps will guide you on importing this file into your software.

Don't worry, if you are happy with your current color profile and presets, this update will not remove them.

 

Step 2: Software settings

Open M&R Quatro RIP and go to Settings:

Windows macOS
Edit > Settings

Step 3: Devices & Presets

Open Devices & Presets by clicking on this menu:

Step 4: Select the device

Select your Quatro device:

Step 5: Import preset

Click on the Import button Import_Jobs.svg and navigate to your downloaded preset to import it:

A blue processing toast will appear top-right of the window:

Finally, a green success toast will show that everything went well:

Install complete!

You can now use the new Color Accuracy V1 preset:

And, if you already had other presets before, you will also be able to see them in the list and use them.
