How to use the Fine Line rendering feature?

Recent versions of Adobe PDF Print Engine introduce enhancements that improve brand impact when printing spot colors and support standardized PDF 2.0. The new Fine Line feature sharpens the rendering of thin lines and enhances the legibility of small text:

In CalderaRIP, you can enable Fine Line rendering for individual images in the FileMan module or apply it to all your images through the Adobe PDF Print Engine (APPE) options window.

Configure FileMan

1. In the ApplicationBar, double-click on the FileMan module:
   
   
   
2. In Fileman, click on Setup…
   
   
   
3. When the Setup window is open, check the box to "Enable Fine Line rendering":
   
4. Finally, click Close.

Configure Adobe PDF Print Engine

1. Go to the Configuration/Special menu (depending on your software version) at the Applications bar:
   
   
   
2. In the Force Fine Line Rendering area, click Enabled to activate the option:
