Switching between licenses, such as transitioning from a demo license to a purchased license, is a common scenario in CalderaRIP. This process assumes that the license activation file has already been loaded, either during the initial installation of CalderaRIP or later via the KeyManager module, using the "Activate New License" option.

Only valid and up-to-date licenses can be attached
If the printer drivers are active (running), they must be stopped before the drivers detect the new license. You may be interested in reading: ServerAdmin - How to stop a printer driver?
- Open CalderaRIP.
- Go to the Settings Tab and open the KeyManager.
- Click on the Manage Licenses button:
- You will see the list of licenses. The one which has "Yes", under the Attached column, is the license currently in use.
- Select another one that is currently not attached.
- The Attach button should now be selectable. A confirmation window will pop up confirming the switch:
- Once confirmed, close CalderaRIP.
- Re-open the software and check that the new license is now in use. For that, click on the Help menu and select About this software:
