When using Tiling+ workflow to generate grommets, be aware of the following: Tiling+ has two modes:
Mode 1: Template mode
Where you enter a pre-defined poster size (width and height entered under the poster size section):
In template mode, the Tiling module places the grommets at your predefined positions in the poster so the "Automatic Grommet Generation" doesn't need to be activated.
Good to know
Starting with CalderaRIP V10 the Grommet Editor is also available in the Page Setup (within the printer driver or module) and it has some other control options.
Mode 2: Scaling mode
That gets activated when you lock a certain scale and the width/height is automatically calculated based on the scale used:
In scaling mode, the "Automatic Grommet Generation" needs to be active and the grommets will be placed automatically based on the scaling:
