Warning
If a multilayer driver ("-ML") is available for your printer, you can use it without having to purchase an additional driver. However, please note that only one driver can be used at a time.
Before switching to the multilayer driver, make sure you re-import your customised colour management settings and presets. Learn more.

CalderaRIP V19.3:
- Main non-ML drivers:
- Fixed an issue where the mode list was displayed incorrectly after reloading an SQPE file.
- ML-specific drivers:
- Fixed an issue where an incorrect quality list was displayed.
- Fixed an issue where varnish and white inks could be assigned incorrectly.
- Added a warning when the loaded SQPE file is outdated. In this case, the latest SQPE file must be reloaded to ensure compatibility.
- Updated the Page Setup module to display only the tab relevant to the selected mode.

- Revision A: Fixed potential unexpected behavior when using special inks as varnish, where supported by the printer model.
- Improved the multi-resolution rasterization workflow for the ML-specific printer drivers, with an updated layer configuration interface and simplified setup for white, varnish, and primer layers.

- Fixed an issue that caused the printer drivers using the legacy multilayer to crash when processing multi-resolution rasterization jobs with the "Enable Cutting Contour" feature enabled.

When support was introduced in November 2025, two drivers were available: swissQprint-Topi-5 and swissQprint-Oryx-5. Both supported CalderaRIP’s Multilayer Manager. In January 2026:
- The existing drivers were renamed to swissQprint-Topi-5-ML and swissQprint-Oryx-5-ML.
- Two Non-ML drivers, without the -ML suffix, were introduced for simpler White, Varnish, and Primer workflows through Page Setup > Spot Inks.
