Driver History

• CalderaRIP V13.1:
  • S50600 and S70600, Revision A (03/2020):
    • A fix was added to use the proper settings for job data when only one layer is used. Previously, it may have used some default settings instead of the selected ones, resulting in lower-quality output/prints.
    • Also, a fix was added to apply the desired output (colors, spot, etc.) for printing one layer instead of printing all the channels independently of the user's choice.
• CalderaRIP V13:
  • S50600 and S70600, Revision A (03/2020):
    • A fix was added to use the proper settings for job data when only one layer is used. Previously, it may have used some default settings instead of the selected ones, resulting in lower-quality output/prints.
    • Also, a fix was added to apply the desired output (colors, spot, etc.) for printing one layer instead of printing all the channels independently of the user's choice.

  • All drivers, Revision A (07/2019): Restored compatibility with macOS 10.11 (El Capitan). The driver now launches correctly. Resolved an "Unknown error" encountered when using EpsonHTM mode (#9525). 
• CalderaRIP V10:
  • All drivers, Revision C (01/2015): Improved firmware detection for HQ2 mode selection.
  • All drivers, Revision B (12/2014): Added support for firmware released after September 2014. Limited compatibility with older firmware versions and Epson HTM mode.
  • All drivers, Revision A (11/2014): Implemented pre-print checks and added support for HTM2 mode (enhanced speed and reduced banding through the addition of HQ1 and HQ2 qualities).
• CalderaRIP V9.0: 
  • All drivers supported from this version onwards.
