  Warning

Network connection and EPSON Precision Dot mode: For optimal performance, an IPv4 address is essential. While you can use a hostname (DNS) for dynamic name resolution—an example of this—you must ensure that it resolves to an IPv4 address.

SNMP Protocol

This printer driver supports SNMP version 1 and version 3. If necessary, you can manually change the SNMP protocol version to match your printer settings using the corresponding field in the Connection tab of ServerAdmin:

  Info

Note that if you configure a device to use SNMP V3, you cannot access it using SNMP V1.
